The futon is great for the price. It definitely is not comfortable enough to sleep on without a mattress pad. The backrests that you lower to turn into a futon are at a lower level than the front cushions/ so you would be sleeping at an angle.
The futon is generally comfortable but very firm. The memory foam is not the squishy type that bends to your pressure like you would expect in a mattress.
It was very easy to assemble. I assembled it in about 40ish minutes on my own (55 female / not hard to flip around. Too heavy for me to carry the box it came in though).
The color is true to the photos. The velvet has some damage that looks like someone scratched it too hard, but it is not super evident. There are many loose threads that I had to cut off.
The delivery process for this item was the worst I have encountered on . They rescheduled my delivery 3 times, and I had to call four times to figure out when this package would arrive. They actively dodged my questions and did not supply me with any helpful or accurate information. When you select a delivery time you choose a 3/hour window, and when they rescheduled my delivery the window I chose was not respected. 2 of the times they rescheduled my delivery, the delivery window they chose was between 3 am and 6 am. My delivery finally arrived at 6:10 am. I paid the additional 20 to have it delivered up the 2 flights of stairs to my apartment, and the delivery driver rolled the box up the stairs/ lifting it up and then dropping it onto the stairs. This was so loud (its a 150lb box) that I am sure it woke up all of my neighbors. Luckily it did not damage the futon. Terrible delivery experience, would not recommend it.Good for its value.
Works well.I got this for my office ! Bigger than I originally expected but pleasantly surprised. I assembled it by myself perfectly fine, but two people would probably be best if youre not quite the assembly expert. So far I Love it !!! Super soft and comfy. Would recommend.
You should buy. It arrived earlier than expected. The instructions made it simple to put together in about 20 min by myself. It doesnt have much cushion but adding pillows helps with that. The futon really did wonders for space and the aesthetic of my room.
This works. The smell of this futon is horrible! It needs a couple of weeks to air out (I sprayed just a bit of air freshener) it still smells in one end. Easy to assemble with some help. Its a beautiful piece /which is why I kept it, and had a guest who slept on it over the holidays. Not the comfiest but it helped.
Perfect and Sturdy. Sofa is very nice but somewhat hard to sleep on when open as a bed. Also it can tilt to the floor if you put all the weight on one side. You have to place something under it.
Do the work. I absolutely love my new sofa! Fed ex delivered it a week early which is fine, but I wasnt quite ready for it. (The delivery driver also threatened to leave it at the curb if I couldnt help carry it up one flight of stairs).
Once I got it unboxed it was easy to see how it assembled and all the pieces and directions were clear and easy to find. Its heavy and bulky but manageable. It took me longer than it should have but I put it together by myself, while I had covid, so it took about 1.5 hrs.
Its so pretty! Its also really sturdy. And yes, its quite firm at first. But its loosened up nicely over the last 3 weeks. I nap comfortably on it on a regular basis. The fabric and tufting are nice and I love the MCM style. Several people have asked if its vintage!
For the price I dont think I could have done better. Its exactly what I wanted.
Awesome! The chair is comfy and looks like the images displayed. However, my item was damaged and because it came from a 3rd party seller they were unable to send me a replacement. corrected this by refunding me and that is the only reason I gave this product a good rating. Thanks for great customer service.
