Value for money.I thought I would like this bed for my sonhe had a loft bed and wanted a regular bed. It looked different on the pictures than I thought it is really low and if you dont get a box spring (which he didnt want), or something theres a big gap between the mattress and headboard. I put a lot of pillows on my sons bed to try fill it, hopefully he wont bump his head on the wall or the headboard. But my son likes the bed, so really how I feel doesnt matter. Good for a young teen, but not so much for young adults.
Its a pretty good bed but ive only had this bed for about 2 months and the side wood is coming out of the frame as seen in the picture Ive provided so Im going to get a new bed frame as soon as possible.does the job
Good quality.I rated this frame 5 stars because a similar bed at pottery barn (but has slats) is 3k. Weve been using this frame for a month now.
This bed came packed all in the head board. Be careful not to open the zipper and pick up the head board because everything will fly out (oops). You definitely need a box spring because theres only 4 cross bars. I think thats kind of standard now days. The description suggest 16 inch matress + box spring, but I think aim for 18 if you dont want a gap. Otherwise 16 is fine. I ordered a 4 inch box spring and a 12 inch bed. The space from floor to bottom of frame is a little less than 3 inches which isnt mentioned in the description. Our bed came with a little damage spot on the bottom board but glue fixed it. We let it air out for 3 days because it had a fishy smell but we do not smell it anymore. We hit our toes on the middle post a few times so I bought black 3M bumper sticker and now no more stubbed toes.
This bed is adorable and you will see the headboard even when you have pillows stacked up. I searched all over the internet and found the same style bed on wayfair for a few bucks more. But I trust a lot so I committed. My boyfriend set up the bed by himself, all I did was hold the head board for a minute. Its not perfect but its the best bang for your buck.
Perfect.Its not the greatest but with ice sheets it looks way more expensive than it is. Not bad for a budget bed set. Sturdiness is so so, but the look is great.
