So far this product is exactly as described. The plan is to use this outdoor. I just hung it up for my 15 year old daughter. She is very happy with this. My only drawback to this item is that it does not come with the accessories to install it.
Bought three of these for down at the creek side. Lots of fun for kids or adults. We just keep some nice, snuggle big pillows in them and its a great place to sit with a book or have a friendly conversation.
The rope part of the swing is very sturdy, however the frame is not as hardy and will pop out of the outer piece sometimes. In all fairness/my kids use this swing like a darn trapeze so its not surprising that it protests every once in a while. If you sit and swing like a civilized person/you should be fine.

Circus performers beware!
