I bought two of these beds for a peculiar room in my Airbnb where I was going to have two queen beds. I had always lived by you get what you pay for but when I read the reviews / I thought I should at least try them. I received them and a precious boy that helps me put the first one together with some difficulty and took him all day but came back the next day and put the second one together in about two hours. At first impression / I thought it was too short but after placing each bed and dressing each beautifully I could not be prouder of this find! They are absolutely beautiful, clean and just perfectly simple! Also, I have people from all over the world and all different sizes and they are holding up beautifully!
I love this bed! I had a canopy bed as a young girl, and wanted another one now that I have a larger room. However, many of the nicer ones I saw were either too tall for my rooms ceiling or too low for me to store things underneath. This one fits just fine in my room and is high enough to store things beneath it. I had a family friend put it together for me today; he can readily verify that assembly wasnt too difficult. Aside from a stubborn screw of two, it took him maybe two and a half hours at most to put it together. Im thinking of getting some sheer curtains to hang on the rails next.
We bought the black and it looks great. Its lower than our last canopy which makes it a bit less striking, but more suitable for smaller rooms with lower ceilings. I had read several reviews /QAs before purchasing which led me to believe that we wouldnt need anything between the bed frame and mattress, that is not the case! After constructing it last night we had no option but to sleep on it, but sadly the mattress just sunk into the gaps between the 3/4 rods that stretch across the bed. Still an aesthetically pleasing bed, just wished wed have known!
I dont know what peoples definition of easy to put together is but this thing is a pain in rear. The instructions themselves are easy to understand because it is not complicated. However, getting a lot of the screws in was extremely difficult and I stripped one using the included tool. So, I stopped, went to the store and got some WD/40 which made this a heck of a lot easier to put together. You also need two people in my opinion to put this together safely. Additionally, make sure you have a box spring, the slats on this bed are not close enough together even for a firm spring mattress, let alone a memory foam mattress. The price is right, it looks decent enough, and like others have said it doesnt creak/feels sturdy. I would personally give this 2 Stars based on my poor experience however I dont think that is fair so Ill give it 3.
Bolts at top strip and wont go in all the way, gave it 3 stars because it really is a nice look.
Just wish it wasnt so difficult getting the bolts in. Now I have to buy new bolts to replace all the top ones.

Looks good, but does need slats or box spring
