    Missing parts, missing customer service

I like the bed, my girls do too. Problem is the shipped it without enough bolts. So I could not finish the top rail. No its a hard. Not a big deal, but, I sent an email to the customer service and havent received a reply. Edi customer service contacted me and sent me the parts within about a week of this post

    Love it!

I love this bunk bed! I put my 1 and 3 year old in it and I like that its not too high for the older one on top and that the younger one has no problem getting in and out of the bottom bunk. The bottom mattress also doesnt sit on the floor, which I wanted and had a hard time finding. Took my husband about 1.5 hours to put together with me helping a Little bit but mostly I was trying to keep the kids off of it before it was done. We put a 10 mattress on top because we already had that size and it still has enough room between the mattress and the top of the rail that my kid will not roll off. We put an 8 mattress on bottom. The 8 bottom mattress allows for me to sit comfortably on the bottom bunk without bumping my head (I am 51). Only con was that it took several days (maybe even a bit over a week, but I cant remember) to get the spray paint smell out of it. We had to keep the bedroom door open to keep the smell from being overwhelming in the room. Since we didnt smell it right out of the box I had it all set up before I realized this or else I would have let it air out on the covered porch for a week to prevent having the smell in the bedroom for so long. Highly recommend to all my friends with kids and one of them even winded up buying one after seeing it at a play date!

    Instructions are very irritating

I love how low it is but the sides for the top bunk are so loose

Great for younger child, happy with this purchase!

We are really happy with this little bunk bed. Wanted something that would work for him and a guest but not take up entire room, wanted the floor space for playing not for sleeping! Love that its not made out of platic. Easy to put together, finished in less than 2 hours. 300 lb per bed limit which isnt fabulous but a lot higher than most of the cheaper ones, high enough mom or dad can climb up and snuggle for storytime. Kids jumping on it hasnt seemed to hurt it. We didnt purchase a bunkie board, but we are going to grab some plywood from Home Depot and cut our own, I dont trust the boards on their own a whole lot, though it does have a metal bar running down the center to help bear the load. Overall Im really happy with this purchase. I bought for a 5 yr old boy and the first thing he did was climb up and jump off glad I didnt purchase a taller one! Purchased a 6 memory foam for bottom (wanted to imize head space when kiddo on bottom sits up) and an 8 pillow top for top, both work great. Feel this will work until hes old enough to want to redo his room pre teen style, Is say great bed for toddler 10 yr old. 4 stars instead of 5 because I dont feel like this bed is the best quality ever, I forsee issues with the ladder and bed rail, but I could be wrong and for the price its really hard to complain.

good bed but poorly designed slide

Overall the bunk bed is good. the wood seems pretty sturdy and doesnt move/wobble. The stairs are only hooked on the top. The worst part is that the slide sucks. about once a week we have to reinsert the plastic part of the slide (long part they sit on to slide down) because it slides down and creates a gap between the wood and the plastic. (I circled the area in the photo where the gap would be). its super dangerous and can cut you if you tried to slide down over it. Its very annoying and just a dumb way to have it set up where it keeps sliding down like that. the slide shouldve been one connected unit. not a cheap plastic sheet that moves.

Like everyone else said great bed, annoying to assemble.

This took me about an hour to put together with help. Directions certainly could be clearer. Also, if you try to do this without a power drill best of luck but it will take forever. I found I had to loosen a large number of bolts and retighten them, so a drill saved the day. The section that shows one bolt being tightened to 100 and the other to 80 is a lie. Tighten them both to 70 and come back later to tighten them to 100 or it wont go together. Still a very nice bed and glad we got it.

    GREAT LOW LAYING BUNK BED

I most certainly have never written a review this long but, I felt I needed to save people some time and frustration. The bed came nicely packaged (although the poor UPS driver who carried it in looked like he was going to keel overthe package was very heavy). I organized/separated all the screws and pieces and started to put it together by myself. I found it easier to put all the numbered pieces to the inside. I did need another person to help me connect the head and foot of the bed. All was going well until, I tried to connect the metal stabilizing bar that braces the top bunk. Somehow the tough rubber that caps both the top and bottom of this bar was also obstructing the holes where you needed to put screw through. Because the rubber was so tough, I was unable to just jam a screwdriver in it to clear the hole. I finally had to get my drill. That did the trick and the holes were then clear to continue the construction of the bed. I would say it took me several hours to put this bed together but several weeks before it was ready to sleep on. I would heartedly agree with most, that the instructions are not the best. They could have been clearer with words not just pictures. In my excitement, I put the bed together and then thought the slats were too far apart (1st photo) I went to furniture stores and looked at other bunks that did not require Bunkie boards (all the slats were much closer together than this bed). More work for me I decided to purchase additional bed slats through . Classic Brands Xtreme HeavyDuty Solid Wood Bed Support Slats Bunkie Board, Twin (59.00). I disconnected all the slats which I had installed and reconfigured. I took all the slats they sent with the bed (the ones meant for the top and bottom bed) and put them all on the top bed (you have to cut the cloth pieces that connect the slats (the slats originally meant for the bottom bed) and place them in between the slats (meant for the top bed) that are already connected. The additional slats I purchased, I placed on the bottom bed. The wood slats from Classic Brand only had prehold drills in the first and last slats but the mattress is not going anywhere on the bottom bed even with the rest of individual slats not being screwed in (3rd photo). You would most likely have to drill your own holes and screw all of them into the bed if you used these on the top bunk. On the bottom though, the WORKED GREAT! My biggest issue was my search for twin mattresses. BEWARE I went to at least 8 different mattress and furniture store. There are no standard twin mattresses anymore (39x75). I took my measuring tape with me to each store and measured each twin mattress. No two were the same size and none of them were 39x75!! Who would have guessed and what is up with that I broke down and bought memory foam mattresses through (although I was truly uncomfortable about purchasing a mattress which I could not try out first). These types of mattresses are the only ones that you will find that are 39X75 inches (and you do need that size for these beds). I purchased Jingwei Twin Mattress, 8inch gel infused memory foam in a box. I could not be happier (2nd photo)! You can put the entire bed together with the hex wrenches they supply, a Phillips screwdriver and a mallet. No power tools required for assembly. Its very sturdy and with the extra slats I added, it is PERFECT. My granddaughters 7 and 3 love it! The only reason I did not give it a 5 was the following: (1) The instructions need to be clearer. (2) I should not have had any issues with the metal stabilizing barwhich I had In my opinion, the slats were not close enough together to provide adequate support or safety. The manufacturer should include more slats even if that increases the cost of the bed. It would have saved a me a lot of time and frustration if the correct number of slats were included and someone had warned me about standard size twin inter spring mattresses
