This took about 4 hours to assemble by myself / or wait / with the assistance of a 5 yo helper. If you can do it with two adults (or adult and teenager) it would probably be faster. The screws and such are packaged and labeled nicely, so you just open the areas as you go to access the correct hardware. The boards are all labeled with sticker letters. You do want to pay attention with the main frame, that you are putting the board correctly on that hosts the ladder. The bed is sturdy once put together. We used an 8/depth mattress and that seems about right, safety/wise, if you want the bedrails to be useful. I would suggest either a 6 or 8 mattress. A 10 depth mattress may be a little high for the bedrails to provide much security.
I purchased this junior loft bed for my 5 year old son.
He is currently in our room and we had a sofa bed for him but I decided to buy him a bed that allowed him more space to be able to play and do some of his preschool work sheets.
Overall Im satisfied with the purchase and hes head over heels about his bed.
Putting it together was somewhat a hassle for my husband but he managed to do it by himself.
Sturdiness : its suprisingly sturdy, I got on it myself (125lbs) to test out if the mattress we got for it was comfortable and I felt entirely secure the entire time. Not wobbly or anything and the hardware was good quality too.
There is cheaper similar beds but the reviews werent great so I decided to go with this instead.
Im glad I did.
This bed is very nice and seems pretty sturdy. It is a bit challenging to put together by yourself but I did it. Directions are very easy to follow. Perfect height for it to not be scary off the ground and to store all my sons toys etc underneath. They say not for kids under 6 but mine is 5. I think if your child understands the safety and that its not to play on but to sleep and is able to safely maneuver up and down the stairs I would recommend.
Our 6/year/old daughter wanted a new bed, and we went on and let her pick which bed. Of course, she wanted a really tall loft bed. She finally settled on this one and I checked reviews but was still skeptical.
The hardware and materials used in this bed are top notch. holes drilled well, all perfectly lined up. The hardware was all metal to metal so no need to worry about stripping out wood or plastic. The instructions were so easy to follow. I was able to complete 99 alone. One particular part of their process that really showed me that I will have nothing to worry about quality of this product was the way the bed slats were pre/assembled to just roll out perfectly spaced apart.
My only complaint and it is a very, very minor one is that the bolt heads do not have covers to hide their locations. Mild aesthetic inconvenience and the only complaint from me.
All pieces accounted for and undamaged, assembly was easy, perfect size for the room, and my daughter loves it. The loft feature gives us so much more space in the bedroom to play as we put both of her bookshelves and many toys underneath. Her crib and first toddler bed was and weve never been disappointed.
Nice and sturdy. Took some time to out together, but wasnt hard. Works great. Looks just like the pic. I like that this one was a couple of inches taller than other similar ones
Nice and sturdy bed once put together, even my 160 lbs husband had no issues getting in it and laying down. It has a nice height so my kids dont really need to squat and play under it freely. Best of all it was affordable and could be made to each of our twins liking as one is boy the other a girl.
The top safety bar marked M missing
Multiple calls to company on which are unmanned no matter what time of day
2 Emails sent and unanswered
Disappointed
Positioned it against a wall to keep her safe
The product arrived in one large box. Upon opening the box, everything was very well packaged, and labelled for assembly. I would say assembly took about an hour for my 3 year old helper and I. I was a little nervous about how wobbly it seemed during assembly, but once everything is together and tightened down, it is really quite sturdy.

This bed was pretty easy to put together and I am pleased with the quality of the wood. It looks very nice and my boys love them!
