This is a great little console table. It is made with REAL, not finished wood. I repeat, it is real wood so there will be roughness, knots and texture to the touch. Its a simple and elegant design. Sits well on carpet. Fits our rustic motif well. We would highly recommend this table.

This is a rustic table. I dont know why everyone wants this to be perfectly cut, stained, put together. This is SUPPOSED to be like this! What do you expect for 75??? Anyway, I love mine and it fits perfectly with my farmhouse decor. I have the dark color. Product is already put together, you just have to pull it out of the box.
It seems as though this table was soaked in the stain . Have had to put this piece outside due to the unbearable smell. I love the table itself. Sure, it has a few minor defects. It is a rustic piece of furniture which should say enough. It is sturdy and level. Craftsmanship is fine.. There are a few rough patches on it.
Question.does anyone know if the stain used is water/based? I want to put a water based clear polycrylic protective finish(or something) on it. Hoping that might help contain the smell and preserve this piece.

Off Gassing Is Overwhelming
