For the price I was expecting mediocre, walmart tier, quality, but its actually very well made. The formica is very thick, and covers every inch of pressboard, so it isnt going to peel, or chip, easily.
Also, the corners are rounded so no spearing yourself in the side. Even the edges of the desk are dulled so you dont have sharp or angular edges to worry about grinding an appendage against.
It was easy to assemble al; took me about an hour without power tools.
I would definitely say its worth the cost. I would have easily spent twice this much on a desk of similar quality. It was a pleasant surprise.
I went from a HUGE teachers desk (all wood) to this desk. Took some time to get used to because it is certainly a lot smaller, but it worked out great. East to put together and looks real nice in the room. I have enough room for the things that I really need to be by my side. Would highly recommend.
Has a pullout keyboard tray, drawer, and adjustable shelves
Great color and material
Compact size great for small rooms and dorms
Comes with bolts, screws, and a screwdriver (no hammer included)
Just looks really good
/ Assembly is tedious without power tools and disassembly for transport is impractical
/ The grooves cut in the panels arent perfect and cause alignment issues when assembling the product
/ Some screws/bolts are difficult to insert or may be poorly threaded
/ Takes a long time to build without power tools
Overall: A beautiful desk with compact form without sacrificing function. However, the quality of construction and difficulty of assembly is questionable and may cause your final product to be imperfectly aligned. For the price however, it isnt bad.
I got mine from Home Depot because it was slightly cheaper but I came here because was the first place I looked so I figured Id leave a review.
The desk is alright, the only downsides are that mine came with a chip on the side of the top so now there is a really sharp piece of wood sticking out and its bothersome. Even though I got it from a different store I am now realizing that mine was not the only to come chipped, so the problem is probably with or maybe UPS (though I kind of doubt its the latter). The keyboard tray is pretty wobbly and doesnt seem too secure. I had planned to do without it when I ordered it because I didnt care for the tray but I completely forgot as we were putting it together.
Though other than that it didnt take long to build, it came with all of the parts and even spare s. The instructions said not to use a power drill but the holes in the desk were mere indents so it would have taken me all night to build with the screwdriver they gave me (which I appreciated). My stepdad and I put it together and it took about an hour since hes handy with tools. The desk seems a little small, Im about 5 foot 4 and it barely reaches my upper thigh minus the top shelf. Though all in all I think it was nice for the price and it looks nice in my room which isnt too big. I could see it going in a dorm room because thats what I treat mine as since Im a home for college, it doesnt take up a lot of at all.
This desk is pretty big, it looks great. The problems I had with it was putting it together. The screws that came with it were not the correct size, it made it so that both the drawer unit and the keyboard tray both stick out because of the screws placement.

Easy to assemble. My youngest daughter did it in about an hour on her own.
Nice for the price.

Fits weird
