The look is what is shown a modern piece of furniture. The quality of vynil is not the worst mid grade. The comfort is horrible. If you buy this for looks and are willing to adjust comfort with topper probably a good buy.
I love the aesthetic of the couch. I bought it for my 1/bedroom apartment so that my guests could sleep on something, but also so that I could have a piece of furniture to go with my minimalist life.
It works well as a futon, but we always place an air/mattress over it to protect the delicate material. I dont mind the stiffness of it, but my boyfriend would get another futon if I gave him a chance.
It really brings up the class of the living space though! I love it. Even if it is a bit stiff and delicate.

Disappointed. looks great, arrived damaged, had company coming, no time to deal with it. Optionscut futon, send photo, or donate and show receipt. Repaired it myself.
