Wow what a wonderful find for an inexpensive cost. Painted the living room got rid of the bulky 3 piece sofa set and Im so pleased with these 2 chairsoh I bought 2. Weve already slept on them to check for comfort. We love their firmness and sturdiness.
This was a last/minute purchase for our vacation rental home when we were looking to add an additional betting option to the property. Its very convenient however its extremely firm. So if someone were sleeping on it it would definitely be challenging for them if they prefer a softer sleeping surface. Its also narrow so it would work better for a child or smaller adult. We did have a slight issue with the frame breaking and we had to make a slight repair which was more or less easy. But this occurred within the first three months of our using it. Easy enough to open up and close.
I was a little nervous about ordering a piece of furniture online. But this folding bed is really great / it was easy to assemble and the transition from ottoman to sofa bed takes about 30 seconds. I dont think its very comfortable as a chair so we keep it as an ottoman. We live in a small space and my college son is sleeping on it while hes home for the summer. Its definitely very firm, so I got a fluffy topper and that makes it much comfier. Im not sure if you could really be comfortable without some sort of topper. My son likes it and he fits pretty well on it too (hes about 58).
5/15/22, I just received my folding bed and it was easy to assembled. However, I am very disappointed with the height of the bed. It was not 17 inches in height and the mattress is not 3 inches thick. nonetheless, the mattress is very hard so I would use a topper to help with the hardness of the mattress.

Just purchased Guest folding bed
