I would definitely recommend this bed for people who have a limited amount of space. I live in an NYC micro apartment and I am 26 and I feel that the bed is very sturdy. I have regular ceilings and I am able to sit up in the bed (I am 52). The amount of space underneath is aming. I am able to fit my make shift closet, a small ottoman seating area and a 12 cube storage unit. I kind of wish the step ladder came with covers, however you can make covers for them or I believe someone else suggested pool toys

Bed arrived faster than anticipated. Everything was packaged wonderfully. One of the bolts on a post wiggled out when we were putting the bed together, so its a little wobbly.
Also its way tall and the bed sits up really high yet the rails dont go high enough. We will need a new mattress. My son loves to put his things underneath the bed!!
instructions were easy and took about an hour to put together. my daughter loves it and gave her so much more space in her room.
only thing is that she wishes the steps were fatter for her feet. (wimpy soft feet)

Got this bed for my 10 year old and he loves it. Pretty easy to assemble. Its a little wobbly, but definitely no concern of it falling over or posing a danger in any way. If you bump it a few of the bars just slide into cut/out slots in the legs so they rattle if you shake those bars. I squeezed a rubber band in the gap to stop it from rattling. The ladder steps are only 1/2 wide so for adults, its not very comfortable to stand on. My son and his friends dont think its a big deal.
Setup was definitely a two person job, but following the directions was easy. This is certainly A good value, but you should definitely stay within the recommended weight limit. The opening at the top was designed for a smaller child, so it is a tight squeeze for my teenager.
