For our kitchen in matt black and wood I searched for a long time matching stools and finally found them here. Well processed, well packaged, easy to assemble and use. Heavy enough so that they do not tip over, the edge of the seat is well sanded, nothing interferes with sitting. I hope they last a long time, but for now we are thrilled. With 159 for two stools in quality, the price is also reasonable. Completely satisfied.
One person assembly. Super comfy. The wood-like sitting region makes you think its hard but actually its spongy-like. Soft for you tush. Sturdy and no way of falling, because the way the bottom area holds up. Looks great at our bar area. By the way, Im 260 and it hold me. Not afraid itll zip down.
I needed some stools for my island and these are perfect. They were easy to assemble and are sturdy. Theyre not the most comfortable, but nothing a cushion wont fix.
These are a huge improvement from old stools. They were really easy to put together but word of caution - make sure you remove the plastic cap on top of the seat post before inserting it into the seat. I thought I had a broken chair until I realized that I had inadvertently forgotten to remove the cap as instructed. they both work great. They do look a little bit cheap with the plastic woodgrain, but blend in well in my kitchen.
The stools are not used very often so I imagine they will last quite a while.
While these barstools were very easy to assemble, I wish I had purchased the REAL wood design. The faux wood seat in PU Leather (aka some sort of vinyl) are very cheap-looking. I had assumed if the seat was covered in PU Leather, there would be some padding along with it. WRONG. Its a hard shell not unlike hard plastic, which makes the seat less comfortable.
The only things really positive was that these seats took just a few minutes to assemble and the height adjustment is smooth and easy. You have everything you need to assemble them in the box, and after you sit on them once, the height adjustment is easy and smooth. Otherwise, Id look for a better design than this onethey just look cheap.
