This turned out to be an inexpensive, simple to assemble bed frame that is sturdier than you would probably expect for the price. Assembly is pretty much a no/brainer. It takes less time to assemble than it would to read the instructions. Once fully assembled there isnt much more to do but add a mattress and enjoy.
As bed frames go this definitely is not the best looking or most comfortable, but its definitely nice for the price. I would definitely NOT recommend this as a platform bed, especially if you have a thin mattress. You are going to be way more comfortable with a box spring or something similar in/between this and your mattress.
The 1,600 lb claim that comes with this frame is not something that I can easily test, but it does seem a bit of a stretch if you ask me. I certainly wouldnt want to sleep on this thing if I weighed 1,600 lbs. Im guess that this doesnt really come up very often in real life though, thank goodness. Easy to fix.
