I was pleasantly surprised how much better these stools looked in person. I was afraid they would be to bulky and that the fabric would be too harsh or too light, or even that the linen aspect would be too obvious. On the contrary, they are very discreet and the perfect texture and color (not too white and not too linen like). They are very comfortable to sit in. The top of the seats are just are almost flush with our counter which again is discreet. A small woman or bigger man can sit in them, but the way they curve makes them pleasantly proportioned in size.
As far as assembly, the screws are way too short and made them super difficult to turn the wrench back and forth to tighten them, and it took quite a while to assemble.
