I am very tired of throwing things away due to a cheap zipper. I purchased a cover for my deck heater made out of real nice canvas that came with a plastic zipper that broke in the first week after using the zipper twice. This seems to be the general rule at this point with products. Often with jackets and coats.
The cover for this greenhouse has two zippers for the entrance door. I have opened closed this door a hundred times. The zipper is still good.
The cover comes on and off easily which is nice. When a storm is coming, I put the plants in my house and take off the cover, leaving the frame outside. I have had my plants in this greenhouse most of the winter. I do have a small space heater for nights below freezing. On 40 degree days when it is sunny, it is 80 degrees in the greenhouse. It is on my deck on the sunny side (South) and I covered the floor with tarps / This is a real nice unit for a hobbyist, easy to put together and works well. I only expected to use it for a year but I am thinking it will last. I would not leave it out in 40mph+ winds. The frame is tied to the deck posts but it is light. But very easy to take the cover off and just leave the frame.
