This chair is gorgeous and comfortable, not too hard or too soft but contoured to fit your body if you are not really tall. The color is not pure white but more like a light vanilla. It is not real leather but you would never know from looking at it. The larger pillow can be removed. The top smaller pillow is attached to a strap so it can be flipped behind the chair. The screws and legs are in a zippered area of the underside lining. The holes were accurately drilled it took less than an hour to assemble with the Allen wrench included. It is true that the rear square leg bottoms are sharp. I easily remedied that by buying felt pads that perfectly fit from Lowes. The chair came well packed and in pristine condition. I do not see any issues with poor stitching or construction and Ive used it every day since I purchased it. I was looking at a chaise that cost over twice what this did. So glad I ordered this instead. Perfect for us
