I love my bed (this would probably include the Memory Foam Mattress I suspect).
She did say that she would prefer there to be an open space where you climb into bed at the ladder.
My opinion, It works, seems like it will hold up. I would probably go a different direction if we had to do it over. Very easy to assemble!
