This bed looks great but is kinda cheaply made. Wood is soft. My son is 150 lbs and when he got on it the wood supports all bowed down. We wouldn't let him sleep in it for fear it would break and he would fall through the center. My husband had to go get a couple of larger boards to screw to the bottom to support the mattress. We also had to attach it to the wall with a stud to keep it from moving around.
I would not recommend this bed if your child weighs more than 100lbs.
