I am very able bodied. It took my mother and I 4 hours to get this thing together. My first issue is that the base frame isnt held together by anything except the leg pieces. This means the last piece is just held in by hopefully the pressure of the other pieces.
Attaching the springs was the hardest part. We started, as suggested by several online tutorials by putting on every 10th spring and working back around to reduce tension in any one spot and make it easier to attach the mat. However, it required a lot of force to pull some of the springs, to the point that BOTH the spring tools they provided snapped as I pulled back the spring, leaving us with nothing to use and having to find another tool (in addition to a sore hand from the spring snapping back) Additionally, some of the holes for the springs werent the right size and required us to hammer the spring into place while trying to keep it pulled back. This took a lot of time and effort.
The posts and netting werent terrible to put on, but, directions werent real clear and it took us a little bit to figure it out. My other complaint is that the spring cover doesnt seem to fit properly, it shifts often despite retying and fitting it several times. Overall, as my kids (who are very young and dont weigh much) jump, it seem the trampoline moves more than it should, so I am a little nervous things arent completely secure.
They do however, love it, and it was a decent price so that helped bump the star rating.
Difficult assembly, broken tools
