This is a really solid, nice/looking bunk bed. We shopped around and tried out metal bunk beds, which seemed a lot cheaper, and most other wooden bunk beds were out of our price range. It did take awhile to put together (about 3.5 hours), and at first we thought the slats for under the mattress didnt line up (I saw some other reviews here that may have mentioned this). We called and they said they hadnt heard anything about problems with misaligned pre/drilled holes, but they offered to send us replacement slats. We finally figured out that you have to screw one end of the slats in, and then REALLY stretch the slats (they are all connected) to reach the other side of the bed, but they absolutely DO line up and there is no need to drill extra holes to put this together. Awesome bed for the price, highly recommended. Great price and somewhat durable.
