Chair was delivered well packaged and protected. As a result, it arrived in perfect condition.
This is a heavy chair (sign of durability) with a firm seat but its just what I needed and wanted.
Note that I am 6 3 tall and weigh about 170 lbs. I had no issues adjusting the chair to be comfortable to me.
As others have mentioned, the chair makes a noise when returning to an upright position after reclining. However, that is not a big deal to me as I am using it in my home office and there is no one else nearby to be bothered by it.
