Extremely comfortable and adjustable, but back clicks when returning to upright position

The Gesture is everything Id hoped for to replace my decade-old Herman-Miller Taskpointe chair—extremely adjustable, very comfortable, visually attractive. Im at my home office desk nearly 12 hours a day, and at 63 tall and 195 pounds, I needed a chair that could handle my height (seat depth adjustment) and length of sitting. After a week of ownership, this chair appears to be a good investment. The only flaw, and its more an annoyance than performance issue, is that on the first day after it arrived, it developed a clicking or light clunking sound in the backrest whenever I returned to an upright position after leaning back. It appears to be in the top third of the backrest, where the plastic flexes and the frame components meet, as though someone is tapping firmly once on the chair in the area between my shoulder blades. It occurs no matter how far back I lean. This seems to be an engineering or design issue. The chair is far too large and heavy to consider a return and, based on other reviews Ive seen on and elsewhere, this is not an isolated issue. And its the only (annoyingly audible) flaw so far in an otherwise well-made, comfortable chair.
