This is a heavy piece that does indeed, as stated, require two people to put together. I did not, however, find the instructions at all difficult to interpret or follow and got this together pretty quickly. The only step I found a bit taxing was getting the drawers into the slots once assembled, but found it worth the extra effort, since they wont come out easily with indelicate little boy hands. Ive had the bed for three years, and the only issue I have had with it is that the drawer bottoms will bow with time and the weight of clothing, thus the four star rating, but customer service has been helpful and provided a replacement a couple of months ago. The bed is stable, having endured multiple 8, 9, and 10 year/old boys jumping on it for some time now. I have moved it from room to room and did not experience any difficulty in doing so. You just flip the bed horizontally onto the side with no drawers and it moved easily across carpet, and across hard floor with sliders. Its heavy and durable. The corners are a bit pointy, but we padded them with foam tape and have had no issues with scratching or other injuries. For the price, I dont think you can beat it. I would definitely buy again.
