I ordered this fan purely for aesthetics. I didnt expect much air movement from three blades. I was so very wrong! The air movement from this is superior to the five blade fan I replaced.
The blades are solid wood and attach without brackets. I wasnt sure how that was going to work until I saw it for myself. Very ingenious design.
The smooth and quiet operation I have experienced are much appreciated since I knew the fan would be a bit large for the room I was putting it in. As it turned out, it looks and functions wonderfully in the room.
My room has a retro feel and this is a great addition. I can see it in a modern, or even farmhouse as well. All around well made and classic looking.
