Beautiful fan (not installed) but impurities int he glass
It is a beautiful contemporary fan and the price is right compared to similar models. The blades are real wood but very light, almost like balsa wood. One had a small blemish similar to the one mentioned in the very detailed review by another buyer. Because the wood is so light and soft, I suspect it could be a packaging issue, with one blade pressing on the other, as the blemish is in the same spot. I cannot comment on the actual performance/noise level etc as I was waiting for an electrician to come, and while inspecting everything to make sure nothing was missing, I noticed that the milk glass had many black baked-in impurities on the inside (see attached picture). This does not show on the other side and would not be an issue if you do not turn the light on, but they would show when the light is turned on and look like small dead bugs. One star dropped due to poor quality control on the glass. Also it would be nice if this unit came with the option of installing the light module or not.
