I bought a new hybrid mattress that I could not use with my existing box spring. I researched frames on and selected this 14 bedframe. Super easy to assemble, all the pieces just slotted together, no tools required. I was worried it would not be sturdy but it appears very capable of handling heavier folks and/or a healthy sex life. I highly recommend it.
