Lovely bed, good quality, advertised as a platform bed, it does require a box spring
I love this bed. It is adorable in my grand daughters room. However, it is advertised as a platform bed frame. It is not. A box spring is necessary or every bar can be felt through my (very expensive and thick) mattress. Otherwise, it is sturdy and well made, fairly easy to put together (it took me 25 minutes). Not all material shipped.
