I was concerned about the rising and falling tabletop. I was worried that it wouldnt be sturdy but my partner and I are very satisfied to have the occasional meal/dessert in front of the TV together at the little pull/up tabletop. It is sturdy. Overall the material also seems quite durable. My only wish is that the top of the ottoman was a bit more plushy. The trade/off is that you can put things on it like a glass of water without fear of it falling. Also, a tip for putting it together. When you screw in the legs, you cannot unscrew them. So make sure you get it at the angle you want them to be and dont try to go over that. Otherwise, you will have 1 leg like us that is not aligned with the corner. It wont let us go counterclockwise. Overall extremely satisfied with it!
