Not as big as I thought. Arm rests are low so can almost roll out. When in reclining position, doesnt hold much weight. Our 50 lb lab would lay between my legs on my old chair, it immediately goes down when he gets up, not a horrible issue, just sad he cant lay there anymore lol Takes a few kicks to get it down otherwise. Good quality for price. Considering returning
