So the good part first- this is a nice-looking, modern bed frame. You dont need a box spring, which helps on cutting down expenses, and the frame itself is a good price for the look.
The medium- my teenage son was able to put it together by himself with the little allen wrench that is provided, but it took a good 3 hours for him to do it. The frame is incredibly heavy before assembly.
The bad- the smell is real. It has this weird fishy smell that fades VERY gradually...if at all...we havent gotten there yet. My son can tolerate it, but if you are sensitive to smells, especially chemical smells, do NOT buy this.
Basically, if this is what you can afford and there isnt any competition at the same price, it works. But if there is an alternative, I would recommend looking into it.
