There were no instructions in the box (and you shouldnt need any) but I thought the legs were missing. It wasnt until I went to return it that I noticed a zippered compartment on the bottom of the footstool. I really like the footstool. The grey color matched my couch and the material is very nice. Love that it is pet friendly.
