Its not cheap wood either. It was super easy to assemble with help of a partner. I bought the white and everything was packaged and secured properly and Im telling you not one scratch on this bed when I received it. My 2 and 5 year old love it. Bottom bunk is perfect for a toddler starting out in a toddler bed!
