Their parts could have been a little better labeled, so be careful when to use 20, 30, or 40mm screws. Other than that, its great. Its really wobbly unless you anchor it to the house. I opted not to use the drywall anchors they gave, I dont trust strength of drywall or plaster. Instead I made two plywood cleats, anchored those to studs, then anchored the bed to the plywood. Now its solid as a rock. As an added bonus I added LED lights (not included) to the underside of the loft...kids get a kick out of those. EDIT: as far as mattress fit, the picture shows it with a BedInABox Original twin mattress.
