My sister and I put this together in about two hours, we had a mishap with the footboard and not realizing that we shouldve arranged it with the four tiny holes/for the support beam/a certain way, simply our mistake! So that caused us some time rearranging. Otherwise it went pretty smoothly! I do wish the bolts and screws were marked but by process of elimination we figured that out! It really went together fairly easy and quick! I was a little nervous bc previous post said 4/6hrs. I am 56 and the bed stands to about my chest. My 4 almost 2yr old love it, she climbs the ladder easily. Its perfect for them. You can also choose what side you want the ladder on, I really liked that! Definitely recommend! Satisfy my aesthetic
