It was delivered when expected, packed well in the cardboard box. No assembly instructions were included but it was easy to figure out and there was a note with a phone number to contact help if needed. It seems sturdy. The seat and back are wide which is a nice plus. We like it. The color was true to the photo. Perfect for us
