I cant sing the praises of this beautiful table loud enough. Im an older sr and it was so easy to assemble. The only hard part was setting it up on its legs due it being SOLID WOOD not the sawdust and cardboard junk thats out there now. The leaf is hidden in the table and I dont have to find a place to put the extension. We no longer have to straddle table legs to fit more people around the table. I found a heat resistant plastic top on that perfectly fits the table. No pads needed. You wont be sorry about ordering this beautiful table.
