Nice surprise on this durable sofa; color is brighter than the picture shown on the website
This sofa is absolutely beyond my expectation and I love it. Honestly, I am not a big fan of soft couches. I easily fell asleep on those and often feel back hurts when I wake up. Those soft foams are not durable at all. We used to have a soft couch for 3 years and when I take off the cover for cleaning, I realized that all foams inside are deformed and probably wouldn2018t last for another 2-3 years. Oppositely, this sofa is extremely firm and steady, probably one of the firmest I2018ve ever tried. I have a 20-month boy who starts jumping a lot on this couch but it still keeps its original shape.
Meantime, I am impressed how well made this sofa is. The base and legs are made of long-lasting sturdy solid wood, which can provide strong supports to the sofa while sitting. All legs have already been attached with non-slip protecting pad at the bottom, which is very thoughtful and can prevent from scratches on floor. I also like the fabric used on this sofa. It is made of high-quality linen and feels very smooth and soft. I checked the couch upon opening and all the edges are stitched very well – I didn2018t find any additional threads on the surface.
Regarding the function, this couch can really be used in many ways. I can be easily converted to 3 positions. We can either put the back piece down to make it a bed futon when needed, or can adjust the them to different angels to accommodate people2018s preferences while sitting. Just fully lift up and then put it down to the desired position, which is super easy to operate within 30 seconds.
About assembling, I like how thoughtful this brand and the manual book it. They labeled each piece into A, B, C, D and provided very clearly manual book with drawings. There is no way you don2018t know how as long as you can read. This sofa pretty much came in a half-assembled condition so it took me and my husband 20 minutes to put all pieces together.
One more note about the color,
I got the Tan Linen sofa but the actual color of the product is slightly different what the main picture shows. Mine is lighter and brighter. I like this even better. But you can take my picture as a reference to decide if this is the color you are looking for while making the decision.
