The Black is flat and matte / the honey is Very orangey
The black is super flat and matte black. Its not a stain. Its more like spray painted on. You cant see any texture or wood grain, and it doesnt look that good. A dark black stain that showed a little wood grain would have been nicer. Returned it and went for the honey. I dont lobe the honey either but it will do. Its not like in the images. Its more orangey. This is for my boys room and orange stain wouldnt have been my first choice, I wanted it more muted yellow brown like in the picture. But I couldnt find any other bed that was as good for the price and the convertible bunk bed option so honey will do. Worth it! She loves it.
