Solid and basic. Bought this bunk bed for an upgrade in my daughters room. It isnt overwhelmingly bulky like most bunk beds. It is the perfect fit and I love that it is a full over a full! You get a great bed for a good deal. It took a few hours to assemble. It was easy to put together as well. Worth the price!
