My 16-year-old daughter has been using this bed for several months now. I waited to review because I wanted to get some good use out of it and see how it holds up. I am pleased to say it is excellent quality. We are not experiencing any problems at all. She actually put it together herself (and I made sure everything was solid before I gave her the ok to use). She loves it and it looks great. Our only disappointment is that our 2nd mattress was a pillowtop and too high to fit on the trundle. That is not the beds fault...my fault for not looking at the specs. We will get a cheap mattress to put on there for when friends sleep over. I will also say she uses this bed as a couch, does her homework on it, watches tv. She is on it a lot. I would tell you to buy with confidence. Our experience has been that this is an excellent quality bed frame.
