As expected. My daughter loves this bed! Its very sturdy and stylish. Such a great use of space. Love the flat steps on the ladder and the opening at the top. Also like that the rails are high and are only open at the feet. This one is nice and tall, providing a nicer area underneath, and my daughter wanted to be up high. The desk is a nice size and up against the end, so leaves a big seating area. Were happy with this piece of furniture!
