Item arrived well packed with all the necessary parts and hardware. As has been noted, you need a drill for the slats. Also, would suggest Locktite for everything else. Im 54, 100 lbs and put it together by myself without any difficulty. This frame is very sturdy and does look even nicer in person.
Take note that this arrives in two boxes and one should never expect that 2 boxes leaving the same place, at the same time, would arrive at the same destination together.
