This loft bed is exactly what I was looking for. My daughter is about to start Junior College and we wanted to maximize the space in her small 10 x 10 bedroom. The desk is a good size, and the bed has a higher weight limit (surprisingly up to 250 lbs) for college age/larger kids. The two of us unboxed and installed the bed in less than 1.5 hours. The instructions are pretty easy to follow, but make sure you use a power drill for all those bolts and screws! The bed is nice and sturdy, and she is already using her desk. Her room looks so much bigger and de-cluttered with this loft bed/desk combo. I highly recommend. Quality workmanship!
