Second loft bed Ive purchased. First one was metal, not recommended. This one is extremely attractive, easy to assemble, and super sturdy. My grand daughter loves it, the desk asked her plenty of room for play and school work, especially important in these days of virtual learning Beautiful, sturdy modern design
