As other reviews mention, you need something such as a rubber mallet to put the legs in but they are very easy to assemble. I put the 4 together that I ordered in about 30 min.
They seem very sturdy and I'm using them out on my boat dock. One of the times I sat in one of them with it leaned back a little, I had my arms up over my head and the back slipped off of the base. That scared me but I wasn't hurt. I do recommend these as they fit my need perfectly!
