The Megan is pleased, and you will be too!

Its OK. Let me say up front, I sleep in a recliner, not a bed, due to health issues. So I know exactly what I want in a recliner. This one checks all the boxes except one. Its slightly oversized on the width, so Im not crammed between the arms of the chair. Its not a plastic (call it if you want, you and I both know better) covering, its microfiber. Its well cushioned and yet firm. It has well proportioned massage, as well as heat! It stays put when you lift the footstool without throwing you backwards right away, so you can sit up with your feet up. The one box this chair does NOT check for me is the fact that its a rocker. Normally I cannot stand recliners that rock or swivel. But compa to how well this chair performs all its other functions, thats a minor inconvenience I can live with. But most importantly, the Megan (my 16 year old cat Ive had since she was barely 3 weeks old) finds it quite acceptable. (she HATED my previous recliner for various reasons). As you can see in the attached picture, she is enjoying it immensely (yes, the massage feature is on, Intensity 3, thighs, no heat). Its even better when Im dozing off for the night and she (and her sister) snuggle in on either side of me. Exactly enough room for all 3 of us (Im 56, 180lbs). The foot rest is a bit finicky to latch when youre getting up, but if you push just a bit harder than you think you ne4ed to, it will latch just fine. Im sure that will wear in just fine soon enough. So should you buy it? Most definitely! Its worth every penny, especially if you have a cat like the Megan who is notoriously picky about where they sleep.
