I am incredibly surprised by the sturdiness. My intended use for this coffee table is to keep my snakes tank on it. His tank is very heavy and the table is holding up perfectly. This table is great for all kinds of things. I would buy again. Looks great and it was cheaper than the other mainstream furniture stores. Also it was so easy to put together I didnt need a manual.
