We got this bed frame so that we could elevate our mattress and box springs a higher. It arrived as scheduled without defects. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. There was minor challenge getting the headboard to fit but following the instruction suggestions worked and it matched up. The color (blue/black) went great with our decor. It was sturdy and felt solid with no squeaks. All was awesome until we placed our King size mattress and box springs on top to finish it off only to find that the bed frame was 5 too wide and 3 too long. The length would have been acceptable as it just meant a bit more overhang but the width may be too much to tolerate. We are going to try it for a while and see what we can do to make it work. Turned out that our king mattress was a California King size making it longer and more narrow than the frame.
