Better be very handy and have a tool kit to put together
In general- the kids love it. But,, the slide is too steep and the step at the end is painful for the kids. So they used the slide the first few days and dont want to slide anymore. Also, it took us 4.5 hours to put it together (we consider ourselves handy). We switched the side of the ladder,, but it required extra effort. You cant change the side the slide is on. There were a few screw holes missing for normal setup and the slide rail was defective and required some work to fix.
I wouldnt recommend to get the the bed with the slide. It is a nice feature at first, and then not being used.
