This is basically my dream sofa. The cushions are pretty firm but still soft, you definitely need to use the pillows to get snuggled in. Getting the feet attached is pretty easy, the big screws go in with the included hex tool, though the smaller screws do need to be drilled in, so get out your electric screwdriver.
While I did need help to get the sofa pieces inside the apartment, once it's in there moving it around is a breeze. This thing is so light I was able to flip it all the way up on its side to put the feet on, lower it down and lift it to latch both pieces without assistance.
The only thing I dont like about it is how high up it is. Unless I'm sitting on the edge of the seat my feet end up dangling in the air (though to be fair, I am only 4'11"), and most coffee tables I've been looking at seem too short to pair with it because of this.
My cat is also highly approving, and has chosen the spot in the photo as her new favorite location.
Plus, so far the advice that cats dont scratch velvet has proven true.
